I
started work as a complementary therapist in 2001, offering Clinical
Nutrition and Bio-Electronic Resonance testing using a Mora machine
(similar to the Vega). With this I was able to test clients for
food intolerances, deficiencies, candida and other common infections.
In 2002
I took a course in Kinesiology testing for the same problems. I was
so impressed with the versatility and ease of this therapy that I
decided to give up BER testing.
I then
took another Kinesiology course on psychological issues. This
enabled me not only to release blocked emotions for patients, but
also to uncover painful issues that they had forgotten, or even that
had occurred in past lives. The only fly in the ointment was that
patients had to concentrate really hard on their problem during the
clearing process, which was often very upsetting for them. However,
I was very impressed by the huge difference psychological treatment
made to my patients. In some cases I had found that no physical
progress could be made until the emotional causes of the illness were
tackled!
Over the
next couple of years I completed my Reiki training and also added
Isis Seichim and Indian Head Massage to my range of therapies.
Then, in
2005, I was really excited to discover EFT and EmoTrance, which could
tackle any emotion-related issue. What I particularly loved was that
releasing the blocked negative energies was so much more gentle with
these powerful therapies than it was with Kinesiology. The patient
didn’t even have to talk about their issues, which is an obvious
advantage where the problem is particularly traumatic, deeply
personal or embarrassing. EmoTrance also has the great advantage of
being so simple it could be taught to quite young children, making it
accessible to a much larger number of patients.
After
becoming a practitioner and working with these therapies on a wide
range of issues for a couple of years, I decided to train as an
EmoTrance Trainer in February 2007.
I feel I
have been drawn to this work because I have a very personal reason
for wanting to help clients going through the stress of emotional
traumas.
From
2001 to 2007, besides continuing to study and practice complementary
therapies, I went through one of the most stressful periods of my
entire life. During these years my father died of cancer, I
divorced, started another relationship, suffered depression, went
into debt, single-handedly put my son through drama school, moved my
elderly mother into care (losing the rented family home that she had
lived in for 50 years), lost her to a broken hip a few months later,
broke up with my partner and had to move from my home of 17 years,
renovated and redecorated my new flat and, finally, settled my son in
London to begin his career.
I felt
like a boxer repeatedly ricocheting between the ropes!
Whenever
people asked me how I coped I said “I don’t know.” But deep
down I did and, when the dust settled, I realised. Good nutrition
and swapping therapy treatments with other complementary
practitioners were certainly part of the process, but my real secret
weapons were EFT and EmoTrance!
If they
helped me through everything I experienced during those years, they
can help you! Let me show you how.
