  Two children were watching a story on television about monkeys. They were aged 5 and a ½ and 3 and ½ years old. Something awful was going to happen to the favourite monkey and the little boy ran from the room and could not bear to watch it. Fortunately his Dad was aware and had the story of what happened. So he sat the little boy down and they read the story together. When it came to the scary or upsetting bits Dad was able to show the little boy how the story ended and it was much better. This made me think about children and scary things they see and hear and how we could use Emotrance with them in the context of their everyday lives...

| News: EmoTrance At The Manchester Mind, Body, Spirit! |

Dr Silvia Hartmann writes:
This October, we took EmoTrance for the
first time to the general public at the Manchester Mind, Body, Spirit
exhibition.
Armed with some fifteen hundred
yearbooks, lots of backup information and the help of some really GREAT
EmoTrance practitioners and trainers, we set off to find out what "people off
the street" would make of EmoTrance - the newest, simplest and arguably most
elegant Energy modality in the World today.
Here are the results and my professional, personal and transpersonal
experiences with EmoTrance at Manchester MBS 2008.
We also hear from Kim Bradley, with her experiences of Manchester!

| Case History: A client wanting to resolve an old frustrating behaviour pattern |
 This client contacted us after hearing about EmoTrance from a friend who experienced EmoTrance with us at a recent charity event. She contacted us wanting to book a 1-1 session to help with a repeated behaviour pattern which had been a problem for her. She explained the behaviour run in her family in that both her father and her grandfather had had the same problem. The client is now 30 weeks pregnant and wants to be clear of it before her baby arrives.

| Teenagers and EmoTrance by Louise Bliss |
 We have had a lovely experience recently with 16 year old Hannah on our recent Self help and Practitioner workshop. It was great to see her working with all ages and totally at ease helping people clear many issues, one issue being older than her! In one of the exercises Hannah helped clear a 20 year old problem! It was great to witness someone with everyday teenage issues clear them one by one. During the feedback session she shared with us the clarity she had gained from using EmoTrance, it was very inspirational to listen to someone so young to have such understanding to some complex emotional issues.

 Margarita Foley Writes:Some practitioners of ‘traditional’ psychotherapies have difficulty with the idea of energy and energy movement. Of course it is understandable if the training is around talking and finding catharsis through reliving past events that a therapist could find a problem integrating energy therapy. There seems to be a fear that the dynamic of the counselling or the therapy will be disrupted or changed in some way. I have experienced this fear when doing bereavement counselling as part of an organisation. What if I disrupt the flow of the therapy? Oh!!

 I heard the other day about a lady who was seeking distant healing from
the members of a Reiki group. Many responded with immediate good wishes

This
two minute experience in how easy and effective EmoTrance deals with
disturbances in the energy body was developed as an introduction exercise to
give people who have no experience of energy work "a taste of EmoTrance".
Sandra
Hillawi writes: Interesting for me, as a trainer was how different this course was
going to be compared to the usual ET Practitioner Trainings. Having
planned in plenty of time for people to do healing work, all kinds
of old stuff came up.
It was surprising to see just how challenging
the subject of love was to everyone.
